Yes - this is detailed in the Advanced User Guide (available
to download from www.actinic.co.uk) |

When
I try and use the Web Configuration Wizard or the 'Test' button
in 'Web | Network Setup', the following message is displayed....
An error occurred while checking the FTP transfer mode -- There
are no more files. Try using the other mode.
I am uploading to a Cobalt Raq server.
This can happen when the FTP login takes you to a completely
different part of the server to where your web site is located.
To correct this error, use the full server path to the cgi-bin
in the 'Path to CGI-BIN' field (under 'Server Host').
For example: /home/web11049/website/cgi/ |

Why
does the Configuration Wizard tell me I have CyberSitter installed
when I don't?
During the configuration, Creative uploads test files to the
server and then tries to read them. While testing for Cybersitter,
Creative determines that CyberSitter has blocked the test page
if the page cannot be read. Unfortunately, the same situation
arises if the uploaded test file could not be written due to
Disk Allocation exceeded.
Check the site disk usage against the allocation size. |

In the field 'Mail SMTP Server', what format goes in it?
In the SMTP server field, the mail server of the hosting company
is expected. This format would normally be something like:-mail.yourserver.co.uk
or smtpmail.yourserver.co.uk This is specific to your hosting
company, so would require confirmation by them. |
|
How
do I setup the network settings to be able to upload my store?
Within Creative either click on Web | Network Setup, if you know
the settings, or click on Web | Configure Web Site Details,
if you are unsure. Within this option, you will need to enter
very little detail, as Creative will make intelligent guesses
for you. |
|
How
do I create an import file for network settings?
From 'Web | Network Setup' select Export and follow the instructions,
this will create a file which can be used as a template to create
a new import file. Edit the resulting file with a text editor
such as Notepad and change the values for the required Network
Configuration. Save the file as a new file. The file can now
be imported to 'Web | Network Setup'. |
